Frequently Asked Questions

"There is a difference between a taxidermist and a tax collector. The taxidermist leaves the hide."
~ Mortimer Caplan

I received an IRS notice, so do I open it?
Yes, do not avoid the problem, it can only get worse.

What do I look for in the letter?
Read the top right section to see the important information: ie. your name(s), address, S.S. number(s), tax form and tax year involved. Read through the letter, and see what the IRS really wants. If the letter requires an action on your part, work within the time frame. If it appears you need help, email or call us at 800-325-7871.

Remember, there is always help available...

I owe Uncle Sam big time - what do I do?
Get started now repairing the problem. As a tax payer and tax debtor, you are not without a powerful defense when facing the IRS. In response to the IRS procedures, we can plan an aggressive strategy to defend you against liens, levies and other collection actions. Act NOW!

    What if I can't pay?
There are several strategies available, and we can help. Your taxes may have been improperly assessed, the Statute of Limitations for Collections has or soon will expire or you might qualify for financial hardship. You may even qualify for relief as an innocent spouse.

What is an offer in compromise?
Many times, we can arrange a compromise settlement for pennies on the dollar. See our section on offers in compromise.

Should I deal directly with the IRS?
If your debt is small, you may want to try it yourself after reading through our website. However, we suggest that if you have a sizable debt or serious tax burden that you contact us and allow us to immediately go to work for you.

    What exactly is an E.A.?
The acronym E.A., stands for "Enrolled Agent." An E.A. is a full-time tax advisor and tax preparer who is permitted to practice before the IRS in all matters, with the exception that a small number of E.A.'s are qualified to represent their clients in Tax Court. E.A.'s earn their designation by either passing a difficult IRS exam or having at least five years of experience working for the IRS. They are required to have continuing education to retain their E.A. status.

Ahlberg Auna, E.A., spent 5 years working for the IRS as a Tax Auditor.

Is it true that the IRS is targeting selected taxpayers?
Yes! The truth is that various methods of the selection process for audits have been a mainstay for many years. The IRS wants folks to comply and be honest in their financial affairs with the government and will use targeted methods to focus on segments of the population that have low compliance.

I live in another state, can you help me?
Yes. No matter where you live, we are equally effective for you, as if you lived next door! Distance is not a concern - trust, integrity and skills are. With that in mind, our record speaks for itself. Our best case on an
Offer was for only 3¢ on the dollar! Our average ranges between 10¢ and 20¢ on the dollar.

Email us today describing your situation and let us begin working for you!

I haven't filed tax returns in 5 years and have lost all my records, can you help me?
Yes. We can get IRS information on your earnings and can estimate your expenses through your oral testimony and other methods.

Don't delay, call us immediately.

If you have any additional questions that you think should be included, please write us with them.
